IsoBuster is an application which recovers files from corrupted CDs and DVDs. A new version has now been released which has support for many additional types of disks/drives. There are both free and paid versions of the application available; this page lists the differences between them.

IsoBuster once helped me recover video files from a DVD which refused to load correctly in Windows or any other DVD player. I was quite impressed, as I had nearly given up hope on ever recovering the video. So if you have a CD, DVD, flash-drive, or compact memory card (etc.) which appears to be corrupted, you may want to give this new version of IsoBuster a try.
